PURPOSE: A bell sound amplifier of a mobile communication terminal is provided to allow a user to easily recognize an incoming call by detecting, amplifying and outputting bell sound of a mobile terminal positioned in a bag or in a pocket. CONSTITUTION: A bell sound detector(10) detects bell sound generated from a mobile terminal. An external microphone unit(20) measures sound pressure outside a bag having the mobile terminal or sound pressure of bell sound outputted from the bag. A controller(30) controls a size of bell sound initially generated according to a noise degree of circumstances through the microphone unit(20) and automatically limits bell sound outside the bag to such a level that would not interfere others. A sound generator(40) generates bell sound.
