PURPOSE: A solenoid valve is provided to secure a predetermined response property after a long-time motion, to prevent the reduction of control performance, and to reduce motion noise. CONSTITUTION: A solenoid valve(100) is composed of a valve seat unit(16) having suction and discharge ports(18,19), a fluid passage(20) formed between the suction and discharge ports, and valve seats(22,23) formed at the correspondent fluid passage; a plunger body(15) having a plunger(7) disposed in a hollow column-shaped plunger chamber(6) to freely reciprocate and valves(10,12) installed at one end of the plunger to open and close the fluid passage together with the valve seat; a coil(2) for moving the plunger body by driving the plunger; a fixing iron core(4) arranged in the movement direction of the plunger and excited by the coil to suck in the plunger and to press and stop the plunger body at a retreat position; an elastic body(8) compressed between the plunger and the fixing iron core to support the correspondent plunger body to a forward movement position; and a spacer(9) having pieces inserted between the plunger and the fixing iron core.
