DUAL MOLDING DRUM STRUCTURE OF TIRE CARCASS MANUFACTURING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A dual molding drum structure of a tire carcass manufacturing apparatus is provided to improve productivity with a reduction of replacement time since the structure is suitable for a small-sized tire production process and makes easy the replacement of a carcass specification. CONSTITUTION: A code strip(1) topped with rubber passes through a loop portion(2) and a guide roll(3) and reaches an actuator(4). The actuator(4) proceeds to first and second steps using a forward and backward movement driving section(5) and an air cylinder(6) while holding the end of the code strip. The code strip(1) is attached to a molding drum(7) by way of an attaching device. The molding drum(7) includes a movable driving roll(9) rotating by a driving motor(8), a stationary driven roll(10) spaced transversely in opposition to the movable driving roll(9) and a splicer(11) for attaching the code strip(1) between the two rolls(9,10).
