METHOD FOR PROCESSING IMAGE DATA OF OPTICAL MOUSE

PURPOSE: A method for processing the image data of an optical mouse is provided to offer a locus curve having more improved characteristic by outputting an image signal inputted from an image pixel array of the optical mouse to a PC through a motion vector processing algorithm. CONSTITUTION: A direction and a size of a motion vector, which is the image data continuously inputted from the image pixel array, are filtered to an X and a Y-axis by using each filter(40). A noise component is attenuated according to a mouse speed by accumulation the motion vector of a predetermined number, and a conversion value for amplifying orientation is mapped/output by a mapper(50). The value obtained by dividing the conversion value into a sum of the mapped values stored in pipes(60) is transmitted to a PC interface.
