PURPOSE: A level gauge with an oil collector is provided to detect the state of oil accurately in measuring the amount of oil, and to guide blowby gas from the oil pan though the guide tube fitting the oil gauge to the intake system by forming the oil collector in the oil gauge. CONSTITUTION: An oil gauge(40) measures the amount of oil in an oil pan installed in the lower part of an engine. An oil collector(50) is formed in a stick part(41) of the oil gauge, and a connecting line is formed between the upper part of a guide tube(30) and a locker cover to guide gas separated from oil in the oil collector to an intake system of the engine. The oil collector has a case(51) mounted in the stick part of the oil gauge and composed of a chamber(52), a drain valve(53) opened and closed in the lower part of the case, a float(58) lifting up and down by oil in the chamber, a tube(57) guiding blowby gas to the guide tube, and a gas discharge hole(59) formed in the upper part of the case to discharge gas separated from oil in the chamber into the upper part of the guide tube.
