FIELD: medicine, surgery. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with plasty of anterior abdominal wall at treating giant ventral hernias. One should carry out partial intestinal resection, aponeurosis defect should be removed with the help of monofilamentous ladder-type carcass made due to successive suturing aponeurosis along wound's edge followed by taking the edges nearer to each other with cross- sectional sutures by taking carcass longitudinal filaments up that removes intraperitoneal hypertension and prevents hernial relapse.
