<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-color image forming material, by which an image having a favorable image quality and stable transfer density can be formed on an image receiving sheet even under various temperature and humidity conditions and high energy laser recording with a laser light consisting of multi-beams. <P>SOLUTION: This multi-color image forming material consists of an image receiving sheet having an image receiving layer thereon and at least four kinds of thermal transfer sheets each having at least a photothermic conversion layer and an image forming layer on a support so as to transfer the laser light irradiated region of the image forming layer on the image receiving layer of the image receiving sheet for recording an image through the irradiation of laser light under the condition that the image forming layer of each thermal transfer sheet is put opposingly upon the image receiving layer of the image receiving sheet and, at the same time, the oxygen permeability of the binder in the photothermic conversion layer is set to be not more than 100 mL/m<SP>2</SP>×24 hr×atm (calculated in terms of the thickness of membrane of 25.4 μm). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
