<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging processing method of a charging system enabling no cancellation when cancellation of a job is not necessary even on the occurrence of an error. <P>SOLUTION: When print processing and fax transmission processing are performed in a multifunctional device 6, the charging processing is started in a charging management apparatus 3, while a printer unit 10 decides whether the error has occurred during the print processing. In the printer unit 10, if the error has not occurred, or a process A has been completed after the error occurred, the same job is transmitted by a fax interface (I/F) 12 through the fax, and whether an error occurs at the fax transmission is determined.
