<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall-installed integral type air conditioner that can be easily modified to apply to various methods of air conditioning. <P>SOLUTION: In this air conditioner, a return air intake port 2 and a discharge air port 3 are formed at an upper end part of a casing 1, and an outside air intake port 4 and a supply air port 5 are formed at a lower end part of the casing 1. Inside the casing 1, a supply air blow passage A in a vertical direction communicating and connecting the return air intake port 2 and the supply air port 5 to each other, and provided with an evaporator 6, a reheater, and a supply air fan 8, and a discharge air blow passage B in a vertical direction connecting and communicating the outside air intake port 4 and the discharge air port 3 to each other, and provided with a condenser 9 and a discharge air fan 10 are provided. Between the supply air blow passage A and the discharge air blow passage B, a first communication passage C to introduce return air taken from the return air intake port 2 to the condenser 9 as well, and a second communication passage D to introduce outside air taken from the outside air intake port 4 to the evaporator 6 as well are provided.
