PASTE, LAMINATED CERAMIC ELECTRONIC COMPONENT AND THEIR MANUFACTURING PROCESSES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve shape retention and continuous printability of a printed film of a ceramic paste used for manufacturing a laminated ceramic electronic component.

SOLUTION: The ceramic paste for forming a ceramic green layer 5 for eliminating level difference contains an organic binder having a molecular weight distribution with maxima in low and high molecular weight regions. The organic binder increases viscosity of the ceramic paste by a thermoplastic resin component having a molecular weight distribution with a maximum in the high molecular weight region while reducing stringiness of the ceramic paste by a thermoplastic resin component having a molecular weight distribution with a maximum in the low molecular weight region. This improves the shape retention and the continuous printability of the printed film of the ceramic paste.
