<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel control device with good operability facilitating the grasping of the whole image of information displayed on a screen without wrong operation. <P>SOLUTION: In the state shown in the figure, a fist control mode is set by pressing an enlargement lock key 6, and a selected paper size object 42 is enlarged and displayed. Although an operation input corresponding to the sheet size object 24 can be accepted because a finger 52 is on the sheet size object 24 in a conventional case, a wrong operation in enlargement is never caused because the acceptance of the operation input is prohibited in the first control mode.
