FILAMENT FOR HALOGEN LAMP, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING IT, AND HALOGEN LAMP USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filament for a halogen lamp capable of restraining the blackening of tube wall generated during lighting, and to provide a method for manufacturing it, and the halogen lamp using it.

SOLUTION: A double base type halogen lamp is made of quartz glass, and a filament 2 having bubble holes of which maximum diameter is less than 1 μm over a grain boundary surface is installed in a straight tube-shaped bulb 1 with outer diameter of 9 mm and bulb length of 106 mm. and both end parts of the filament 2 are sealed by the end parts of the bulb 1. C-H-Br group halogen gas is enclosed in the inside of the sealed bulb 1, and the filament 2 is supported by an anchor support 3. and bases 5 are arranged at sealing parts 4 of both end parts of the bulb 1.
