PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deburring device to efficiently deburr panel materials of various lengths. SOLUTION: The deburring device for panel materials has a first stop means 3 for stopping an end Pa of a panel material P, which is conveyed on a first conveyor 1, at a specified place when a first end detection sensor 2 detects the end Pa. The deburring device is also provided with a first transfer means 5 for transferring the stopped panel material P to a first transverse conveyor 4, a first polishing device 7 for deburring the panel material P abutting on the end Pa when a first panel material detector 6 detects the panel material P transferred on the transverse conveyor 4, and a second stop means 9 for stopping the panel material wherein the end Pa is deburred when a second panel material detection sensor 8 detects the panel material P. The deburring device has also a second transferring means 11 for transferring the panel material P to a second conveyor 10, which conveys the panel material P in the direction opposite to the transferring direction of the first conveyor 1. In addition, the deburring device is constituted by the same devices as those from the first end detection sensor 2 , which is provided following the second conveyor 10 for deburring the other end Pa to the first polishing device 7.
