PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition having flame retardancy satisfying the standard UC94V-O under a condition without using a halogen compound or a halogen-based resin by using a specific curing agent and excellent heat resistance compared with other resin compositions which use conventional curing agents. SOLUTION: The resin composition comprises (A) one or more species of P-containing epoxy resins, (B) a curing agent and (C) a curing accelerator. The curing agent of the ingredient (B) is a compound expressed by formula (I), wherein R<SP>1</SP>is selected from a group consisting of an alkyl, an alkenyl, an alkoxy, hydroxy and amino; R<SP>2</SP>is selected from a group consisting of a single bond, an alkylene, -O-, -S- and -SO<SB>2</SB>-; R<SP>3</SP>expresses H or an alkyl; m expresses 0-4 integer; n expresses 0-4 integer.
