PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw capable of reducing slip friction loss on a screw shaft side without forming a curvature radius of a groove surface of an inside raceway larger than a curvature radius of a groove surface of an outside raceway. SOLUTION: Mean surface roughness of the groove surface of the spiral inside raceway 14 formed in the peripheral surface of the screw shaft 11 is set smaller than the mean surface roughness of a groove surface of the spiral outside raceway 15 formed in the inner peripheral surface of a nut 12.
