摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the dimensions in the axial direction of the whole fluid type torque transmission device in a piston connecting mechanism for a lockup device with two friction surfaces in a type in which a connecting member is arranged on the turbine side of a piston. SOLUTION: The piston connecting mechanism 76 is provided to the lockup device 7 to execute the lockup of a torque converter 1. The piston connecting mechanism 76 is provided with a mounting member 78 and a return plate 80. The mounting member 78 has a fixing part 78a directly fixed to a front cover 11 and an annular part 78c formed on the outer peripheral side of the fixing part 78a and extended between the axial directions of the piston 75 and a turbine 22. The return plate 80 is arranged between the axial directions of the piston 75 and the annular part 78c. It is fixed to the piston 75 and the annular part 78c.
