PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall structural body using timbers which is constructed with a small number of processes and nonflammable though the timbers are used, and also to provide its construction method. SOLUTION: The wall structural body comprises a plurality of wooden wall units 20 each of which is placed on a ground sill 10 arranged horizontally and has a thickness larger than that of a burning marginal fireproof in a direction perpendicular to a wall surface, a lower fixing member 30 for fixing the wooden wall unit to the ground sill 10, a connecting member 40 for connecting the wooden wall units with each other and for preventing relative vertical movement of the wooden wall units and the movement of the same in a direction perpendicular to the wall surface, and an air sealing means 50 provided on the facing surfaces of the wooden wall units at a connecting part 21 thereof to cover whole vertical length of the units for maintaining the facing surfaces of the units to be sealed, and an upper fixing member 70 for fixing the wooden wall units to a horizontal member 60 arranged above the wooden wall units.
