PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a practical valve control mechanism for allowing a control rod to surely function to be used when controlling a valve. SOLUTION: This valve control mechanism has a first rocker arm 2 for directly driving a control valve 1, a second rocker arm 3 of another one, a connecting pin 5 for connecting the first rocker arm 2 and the second rocker arm 3 and the control rod 7 having the connecting pin 5. The control rod 7 is composed of a plurality of divided rods 7a and 7b, and also has a rod driving means 10 for connecting the first rocker arm 2 and the second rocker arm 3 by the connecting pin 5 by moving the divided rod 7b positioned at the outermost end part.
