PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertically movable underwater membrane with no inclination, which can be smoothly moved in a vertical direction even in a place where a water flows rapidly. SOLUTION: In this vertically movable underwater membrane, arms each are provided at both ends of a part near an upper part of the underwater membrane in a direction perpendicular to the underwater membrane; an auxiliary float is provided for the arms; rings are provided at both the ends of the part near the upper part of the underwater membrane; and guide poles are inserted into the rings and fixed.
