PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new thiazole derivative having insecticidal and acaricidal actions, and an agricultural chemical composition containing at least the one new thiazole derivative as an effective component and further a disinfestant, particularly an insecticide or acaricide useful for agriculture or horticulture. SOLUTION: This insecticidal aminothiazole derivative is represented by formula (1) (wherein R<SP>1</SP>is cyano or a fluoroalkyl; R<SP>2</SP>is a halogen, SCN or aryl; R<SP>3</SP>is H, a 1-6C alkyl, SO<SB>2</SB>R<SP>5</SP>or C(O)R<SP>6</SP>; R<SP>4</SP>and R<SP>6</SP>are each independently an aryl which may have a specific substituent; R<SP>5</SP>is a 1-6C alkyl or haloalkyl; X is O, S or NR<SP>7</SP>; R<SP>7</SP>is an alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkoxy, alkenylalkyloxy, alkynylalkyloxy or alkoxycarbonylalkyloxy).
