PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ophthalmic solution giving no pain in eyes and suppressing itching of eyes for a long time in the ophthalmic solution containing ketotifen fumarate. SOLUTION: The ophthalmic solution contains ketotifen fumarate, a vasoconstrictor and chlorobutanol, prevents from pain in eyes owing to ketotifen fumarate and suppresses itching of eyes for a long time, therefore, it is very useful.
