PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking support device which easily recognizes positional relationship between getting-off width and parking frame displayed outside of extension lines of the vehicle width, and easily parking by securing the getting-off width required for getting-off of an occupant. SOLUTION: The support device for parking is equipped with an in vehicle rear viewer camera 5 photographing a target parking lot, a processing device 4 composing the extension lines of the vehicle width with the image of the target parking lot to be photographed, and a monitor 1 displaying a composite image to the occupant. An IR sensor 2 detecting the occupant position is provided, and the processing device 4 superimposedly displays on the monitor 1 by composing the extension lines of the vehicle width at the driver's seat side and the getting-off width required for getting-off of the occupant at the outside the vehicle of the extension lines of the vehicle width when the occupant is detected only at the driver's seat side of the vehicle.
