PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a perfume generator for a vehicle capable of effectively discharging perfume with a fat/grease combustion effect. SOLUTION: This perfume generator for the vehicle comprises a perfume storage part which stores a perfume agent with the fat/grease combustion effect and has an opening portion in it; and a valve which moves the opening portion for opening and closing operations between an opening position where the perfume agent is discharged to the inside of the vehicle by opening the opening portion and a closing position where the perfume agent is shut off by closing the opening portion. The valve is controlled so as to be open for a certain time under operating conditions of the predetermined perfume generator. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
