PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for compactly storing a scraper in a transplanter. SOLUTION: The transplanter is constituted by arranging the storing tool 26 for storing or holding the scraper 24 for taking out mat-shaped seedlings from an assistant seedling-carrying plate 23 constituting an assistant seedling-carrying platform 19, or a seedling box carried by the assistant seedling-carrying plate 23 so that a scooping surface may be directed upward or downward, in a space between the assistant seedling-carrying plate 23U at the lowest layer of the two or more assistant seedling-carrying plates 23, and a step 17 installed over the part from the outside of an operation panel 8 installed in the front part of an operator's seat 6 to the outside of a seat 5 so as not to protrude from the step 17 to the inside of a machine body.
