PURPOSE: A monitor device is provided to reduce a packaging volume and facilitate the handling such as transfer. CONSTITUTION: A stand(30) is installed/erected from a base. A moving part(40) supports a main body of the monitor by the force balanced with a self-weight of the main body, and is elevated/joined to the stand. A hanging part(61) is formed to the moving image part. A locking projection(55) is hung/released from the hanging part of the moving part by installing to one of the stand and the base. When the moving part supports the main body with the force balanced with the self-weight of the main body, a coil spring(57) makes the locking projection released from the hanging part by installing to the hanging part.
