PURPOSE: An ink cartridge, a controller, and a method for controlling fluid flow are provided to reduce fluid flow resistance applied to ink contained in a negative generating structure without lowering a sealing ability. CONSTITUTION: An ink cartridge includes an ink reservoir(17), an ink feeding port(5), and a negative pressure generating implement(30). The negative pressure generating implement(30) selectively opens or closes a fluid flowing pipe formed between the ink reservoir(17) and the ink feeding port(5) according to ink consumption. The negative pressure generating implement(30) includes a sealing part having first and second surfaces, and a penetration hole. An ink flowing pipe is connected to the ink feeding port(5), and includes an opening(7) at which the sealing part of an elastic member faces the penetration hole.
