<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distilled water supplying system dispensing with the need for instrumentation wiring, and also to provide a sterilizing method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The distilled water supplying system includes: a main piping (4a); a plurality of sub-pipings (4b) respectively connected to use points from the main piping (4a); bypass pipings (4c) which are connected to the main piping and the sub-pipings for bypassing the sub-pipings; and temperature sensors (S-2) each of which is arranged in the neighborhood of a branch point (X point) between the bypass piping and the sub-piping. The pipings of the distilled water supplying system is sterilized by high temperature steam. The sterilizing method comprises: (1) a first step for blowing distilled water in the main piping; (2) a second step for supplying high temperature pressurized steam PS to the main piping; (3) a third step for blowing distilled water in the sub-pipings; and (4) a fourth step for closing a blow valve V8 in each sub-piping. The third step is performed by opening automatic blow valves (V7, V8) based on temperature information on the temperature sensors (S2) which are arranged in respective use points so as to detect high temperature pressurized steam PS. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
