PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hunting detection device for an electric load controller capable of detecting hunting phenomenon, to provide a short-circuit detection device capable of detecting short-circuit when detecting hunting phenomenon, and to provide a driving force distribution controller provided with the short-circuit detection device.

SOLUTION: A microcomputer 32 of the driving force distribution controller 31 detects the number of hunting for a predetermined threshold value A of a current command value within less than predetermined time T when determining that there is the current command value. The microcomputer 32 accumulates the number of determination when determining that a duty ratio is changed into less than the predetermined threshold value from the time when it is the predetermined threshold value or more in the past. The microcomputer 32 determines that short-circuit occurs when the number of hunting exceeds the number of N. The microcomputer 32 turns a relay 35 off when determining that short-circuit occurs for control.
