<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for interfacing a part between a terminal unit connected to an IP network and a terminal unit connected to a local IP network. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises: the IP network; the local IP network; the plurality of terminals for performing speech via the local IP network; a home gateway for interfacing the parts between the IP network and the plurality of terminal units, assigning identifiers and ports to the respective terminal units in order to identify terminal units sharing one IP address in processing of a call to be transmitted-received and converting IP address and port information by the header of a transmission/reception packet and the IP address of payload, the identifier to which port information is assigned, and a port number; and a gatekeeper connected to the IP network for carrying out permission of registration and call connection to manage a IP network state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
