PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush-like grinding wheel suitable for use in a portable grinding device. SOLUTION: In the brush-like grinding wheel 1, a large number of wire-like abrasive materials 2 on the base end side are inserted in a cylindrical holder 4 formed of a metal such as aluminum and stainless steel, and fixed with adhesive to constitute a bundle 3 of the wire-like abrasive materials 2. A tip portion 30a of the bundle 3 of the wire-like abrasive materials 2 is an inclined surface 31 in which an outer circumferential edge thereof forms a predetermined angle, for example, 30-60°, with respect to the axis L of the bundle 3. An opening edge 40 of the holder 4 is inwardly caulked over the entire circumference, and the opening edge 40 of the holder 4 is bent inwardly. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
