PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera which is thin in the direction parallel to incident light axis of the subject light and can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: The electronic camera 1 is internally provided with a lens barrel 10 incorporating a folding optical system, an electric substrate unit 5 and power source unit 6 which are arranged on the left and right sides of the lens barrel 10, an LCD unit 9 located on the rear side of the lens barrel 10 and a stroboscope unit located on the upper side of the power source unit 6 and the LCD unit 9. Therein, the electric substrate unit 5 is arranged in the state that three sheets of substrates are superimposed and an occupancy space in the thickness direction is nearly equal to the thickness of the lens barrel 10 and the LCD unit 9 combined. Therefore, the respective constitutional units can be stored into the camera in the state of a small dead space and the camera can be made further thin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
