PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation method of a commercial message (CM) in television broadcasting. SOLUTION: The method comprises a process of receiving television broadcast put on the air and temporarily recording it as the broadcasting data, and a process of detecting CMs and extracting a plurality of CMs from the broadcast data to store them as one commercial frame. The method also comprises a process of recording information such as the name of a product, the name of a sponsor, the features of the CM, data and time of broadcasting, contents of the program, the order of broadcasting CMs, and the total time and the number of CMs broadcasted simultaneously, as individual information of each CM, and recording the information as data to be evaluated in a server; a process of extracting specific data to be evaluated from the server, recording the data into a recording medium, making a plurality of test subjects view the recorded data to inspect impression left by the CM in each of CMs in the CM frame, and a process of analyzing the degree of impression on the basis of responses obtained by the survey and evaluating the degree of impression of the CM from a result of analysis.
