PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio system which simply sets up a unique address on each apparatus in the radio system and simply recognizes the location of each apparatus. SOLUTION: The radio communication system comprises a plurality of apparatus 10n for mutually exchanging data and a setting tool 20 for setting up the apparatus 10n. The apparatus 10n has a means 11n for holding addresses unique to the apparatus, a means 12n for transmitting unique address messages, a means 13n for detecting that own apparatus is indicated, and a means 12n for transmitting a message that own apparatus is indicated in relation to the apparatus unique address. The setting tool 20 comprises a means 21 for showing the list of the apparatus, based on the unique address messages received from the each apparatus 10n, and a means 24 for showing the apparatus being indicated.
