PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of speckle noise without scaling up a device configuration and without lowering a light utilization efficiency by using a coherent light source as a light source. SOLUTION: A diffusion element 2 diffusing the coherent light is provided between the coherent light source 1 and an illuminated object 5 illuminated with the coherent light source 1 to vibrate the diffusion element 2.
