PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply-built nozzle for removing a skull from a converter nose, a nozzle which can melt and remove the scull by changing the oxygen blowing-out direction according to the condition of deposition of the scull on the converter nose and concentratedly blowing oxygen to the scull. SOLUTION: A nozzle 1 for removing the scull from the converter nose consists of: an oxygen flow changing member 4 which is fitted to a fitting part 3 provided on the inner side of and at the center of a tip portion of a lance nozzle 2 rotatably around the vertical axis, forms a ring-shaped slit 5 between itself and the end face of the nozzle 2, and changes the oxygen flow outward of the nozzle 2; and a slit closing member 6 having a slit closing body 6c which is turned with the rotation of the oxygen flow changing member 4 between the oxygen flow changing member 4 and the fitting part 3, and brought into slidable contact with the inner circumferential surface of the nozzle 2 to close part of the ring-shaped slit 5.
