PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium-copper alloy excellent in strength and possessing good bendability. SOLUTION: A high strength copper alloy contains 2.0-5.0% Ti, and the balance Cu and inevitable impurities, and the alloy possesses, (1) an aspect ratio a/b (a ratio of a major axis a and a minor axis b of a diameter of a crystal grain) of the diameter of a crystal grain in a cross section perpendicular to a rolling direction is≤1.5, (2) an aspect ratio c/d (a ratio of a major axis c and a minor axis d of a diameter of a crystal grain) of the diameter of a crystal grain in a cross section parallel to a rolling direction is≤2.3, (3) an average crystal grain diameter ((a+b+c+d)/4) is≤10μm, and (4) 0.2% yield strength is≥750 MPa.
