GROUP PAGING METHOD IN PRIVATE MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A group paging method in a private mobile communication system is provided to page mobile stations by group according to current positions in case that some of mobile stations are moved. CONSTITUTION: When each pBTS(private Base station Transceiver Subsystem) periodically sends information on MSs(Mobile Station) which have been entered into its own service area to a public/private communication service unit(510), the public/private communication service unit stores an area information table provided in a database with each position information of the corresponding MSs(512). When there is a group paging request of MSs by corresponding position(514), the public/private communication service unit receives a paging position and a paging message from an operator(516). The public/private communication service unit transfers the paging message to a corresponding pBTS, and the pBTS transfers the paging message to MSs in a corresponding service area(518).
