PURPOSE: An engine hood panel hinge assembly of a vehicle is provided to minimize the pedestrian's injured degree by making the hinge assembly absorb impact energy while moving downward when impact energy is given to an engine panel. CONSTITUTION: An engine hood panel hinge assembly of a vehicle comprises a hinge pin(24) fixed to the upper end of a side of a hinge bracket(21) fixed to a vehicle body panel; a fixing groove(26) formed to the upper end of a side of a hinge arm(23), with the upper part opened, to make the hinge pin move up and down while the hinge pin is fitted into the fixing groove; and a spring(28) combined to the hinge arm, to elastically install the hinge pin fitted into the fixing groove. The engine hood panel hinge assembly includes a guide-elongated hole(25) formed to the circumferential surface of the hinge pin, and a guide pin(27) protruded to the hinge arm. The guide pin moves along the guide-elongated hole.
