PURPOSE: A method for offering contents using a CD and a computer-readable recording medium recording a program for executing the same are provided to prevent illegal copy by recording only a software and the information related to a CD certification to the CD, which is accessible to the contents by connecting to an operator server, providing the contents from the operator server, and controlling a user computer. CONSTITUTION: The operator computer receives a connection signal from the user computer(S22). The operator computer receives the CD certification information, and permits the user computer to use the contents if the received CD certification information is identical with the previously stored CD certification information(S24). The operator server receives a contents search signal from the user computer(S26). In case that the contents are updated more than one time, the operator server transmits the updated contents to the user computer(S32). In the case that the contents are not updated, the operator server transmits the original contents to the user computer(S40).
