摘要 FIELD: nuclear power engineering; manufacture of fuel elements for fuel assemblies of nuclear power reactors. SUBSTANCE: method includes sorting of rejected fuel elements according to kinds of damage, selection of VVER-1000 reactor fuel elements with claddings meeting cladding requirements, cladding heating in boundary between end of pellet stack and pellet hold-down means to temperature sufficient for cladding destruction at point of heating by internal helium pressure including expansion of rupture point with cladding arranged at angle of 45-55 deg. to horizontal axis; pellets are sorted out; those serviceable are set for reuse and rejected pellets, for recovery; upon extraction of pellets cladding is cut to size of fuel element cladding for VVER-440 reactor and sent for charging; remaining claddings are cut to metered blanks and washed out in nitric solution. Cladding heating line mechanism and cladding destruction line mechanism are integrated into electric-arc cutting unit that has water-cooled electrodes of fuel element cladding clamp disposed on pneumatic cylinder rod; mechanism for extracting pellets from cladding through cut-off part is made in the form of fuel element turner with cutoff end down; in addition line is provided with mechanism for cutting VVER fuel element cladding to size of VVER-440 reactor fuel element cladding and into metered blanks; pulsating reactor for washing metered blanks in screen-type container, entire line being disposed in glove box provided with fuel- receiving pressurized unit in the form of revolving shaft with fuel-element receiving slots; transport means for passing fuel elements through glove box from one mechanism to other; prechamber for removing washed-out metered blanks; pulsating reactor outlet solution filter with collecting tanks and gas-cleaning system. EFFECT: provision for reusing fuel pellets in charging fuel elements of reactors and for manufacturing new ones. 1 cl, 8 dwg
