FIELD: food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: processed flax oil comprises linolenic acid, linoleic acid and oleic acid, preferably in the form of triglycerides, with free tocopherols content in oil making at least 75 millionth parts. Method involves heating crude flax oil to increased temperature not in the excess of boiled water temperature; adding heated inorganic acid to oil and mixing; separating settled material; adding heated aqueous alkaline solution to oil and mixing with oil; separating resultant soaps and washing oil with hot water until pure washing water is produced.
