PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING METAL/CARBON COMPOSITE FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for manufacturing an inexpensive metal/carbon composite film.

SOLUTION: The process for manufacturing the metal/carbon composite film uses (1) a mixture solution obtained by mixing pitch with a metal compound having an organic group in a supercritical fluid of an organic solvent. Alternatively, the process uses (2) a mixture solution obtained by extracting a solvent-soluble portion of the pitch in the supercritical fluid of the organic solvent and mixing it with the metal compound having the organic group in the organic solvent. The metal/carbon composite film is obtained through the process.
