<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality as a whole by effectively reducing noise caused in the face part. <P>SOLUTION: The digtal camera is provided with a digital signal processing part 107 performing an image processing comprising outline correction on a photographed image, a face specification part 114 analyzing the image whose outline is corrected and generating face region information specifying the face region, a noise reduction processing part 115 performing a noise reduction processing on the face region of the picture whose outline is corrected based on face region information and a control part 106 determining a photographing mode of the photographed image and operating the face specification part 114 and the noise reduction processing part 115 in accordance with the photographing mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
