<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weather strip which is fitted with inviting disadvantages, such as deteriorating workability or increasing costs. <P>SOLUTION: The weather strip 13 is fitted along front pillars and a front glass roof of a vehicle having a convertible top 2 that is opened and closed freely. Resin moldings 41 having an almost T-shaped section are fixed to a body panel comprising the front pillars. The fitting base of the weather strip 13 is fitted on the leg of each resin molding 41, which extends to the vicinity of the roof, via a double-faced adhesive tape. A shielding plate 51 is formed integrally on the weather strip 13 to cover part of the upper edge of each resin molding 41 so that the shielding plate 51 blocks up the entrance of a gap formed between the resin molding 41 and an outside side wall 33, which is a molded part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
