<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service starting system using a wireless tag and a public wireless communication terminal having a reading function of the wireless tag, and having a means automatically inputting data necessary for making a service site start service from the wireless tag to the public radio communication terminal by the public wireless communication terminal. <P>SOLUTION: This service starting system has a communication path selection setting means holding communication path specification information specifying one communication path among communication paths including a plurality of different wireless communication means between the public wireless communication terminal 30 and the service site 40 up to a reading port of the public wireless communication terminal, or making sent data sent by the wireless tag 20 touch include the communication path specification information, and selecting and setting the communication path specified from the communication path specification information of the sent data of the wireless tag 20 read by the public wireless communication terminal.
