PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor where the facilitation of the fixing of the paired casings for catching a stator, the reduction of parts items and manufacture processes, and the prevention of bad rotation caused by the occurrence of contaminant at fixation are contrived, consequently the production efficiency improves, and further the stable fixing state of the stator can be secured for a long period of time. SOLUTION: A rear casing (inner casing) 50 is set in a front casing (outer casing) 40, and these casings 40 and 50 catch the stator 20. The front casing 40 and the casing 50 are caulked, and are fixed to each other by adhesion or welding. Moreover, the step 43 of the front casing 40 with which the stator 20 pressure-contacts is provided with an elastic piece 46 which elastically energizes the stator 20 to the side of the rear casing 50, and the stator 20 is caught strongly by the energizing force of the elastic piece 46.
