PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily place emphasis on the cooling and warming condition of a merchandise sample and to easily appeal a specific merchandise, according to the refrigerated and heated condition of in-warehouse merchandise, with an extreamly simple configuration. SOLUTION: A vending machine for selling merchandise heated and refrigerated in a warehouse is provided with a display stand formed like a box whose lower face is opened wherein a plurality of merchandise samples 6 are placed and displaced. In this case, a back wall 52 of the display stand 50 is provided with a lighting window 52b, and a colored display board 100 made of light transmitting materials is mounted on the back wall 52. The colored display board is colored in blue or red according to the refrigerated and heated condition of the in-warehouse merchandise so that the cooled and heated condition of the merchandise sample can be emphasized by coloring a display door being the background of the merchandise sample 6 in blue or red with the light of a fluorescent tube installed in the display stand 50.
