PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To interrupt the power supply to a heater when the used temperature measurement value with a temperature sensor rapidly falls in adjustment control to raise or maintain the heater temperature in a device using the heater. SOLUTION: The temperature measurement value with the temperature sensor is periodically monitored, and a temperature difference between a temperature T1 obtained at the previous measurement point of time t1 and a temperature T2 obtained at the next measurement point of time t2 after the lapse of a fixed time, that is, a temperature difference T1-T2, is calculated, and the value is compared with a judgement reference value, and whether or not rapid temperature decrease is impossible in temperature change indicated by an object to be controlled is judged, and when it is judged that the rapid temperature decrease is generated, the increase of the temperature of a heating body is controlled not to be carried out until the lapse of an arbitrarily set time, and conduction to the heating body is forcedly inhibited during the time when the increase of the temperature of the heating body is not instructed.
