PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission having advantageous comfortability of a stepless speed change device and less required mounting space as well as low manufacturing and maintenance costs. SOLUTION: The power diverging transmission comprises a frictional wheel transmission device and planetary gear devices designed as adders. The first planetary gear device 2 and the third planetary gear device 4 are provided therein and the frictional wheel transmission device 1, the first planetary gear device 2, the second planetary gear device 3 designed as the adder and the third planetary gear device 4 are coaxially arranged in tandem in the direction of transmitting power.
