PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the manufacturing and assembling of a piston cooling device, and to efficiently spray oil ejected from a nozzle to a desired position. SOLUTION: A crankcase 1 is applied to the engine piston cooling device divided into left and right crankcase members 1a, 1b on both crank axial sides. An oil passage forming body 30 in which a communicating oil passage 31 is provided and also an oil ejecting nozzle section 32 is formed is held between the left and right crankcase members 1a, 2b. The oil passages 45, 46 of the left and right crankcase members 1a, 1b are communicated with each other through the communicating oil passage 31, the oil ejection opening 35 of the nozzle section 32 is opened toward the rear surface of the top wall 12 of a piston 11, and the rear surface of the top wall 12 of the piston 11 is cooled by oil ejected from the oil ejection opening 35.
